Research
This is my Pinterest board on research for a fashion line up, that can be uploaded onto WGSN. Click here to see this board
This is a screenshot of the WGSN website which I am using as my inspiration. I like the symetry of rectangular boxes filling out the page. The individual pictures are overlapped and blended into each other. I like the head shot in the bottom  right corner which is in contrast to the symetrically styled backround.
I like how the modern structure of the layout works in harmony with the delicate colour palette represented in various photographs and the combination of two types of the typeface.
Experimentation
Quick sketch of a design from the WGSN website. I scanned the image  first, and using the Adobe Illustrator I will edit this image for further development.
First draft of creating fashion line up for the WGSN brief using Adobe Photoshop.
Lay out development

I placed sample image on the left side of the canvas
then I placed the edited traced dress
I copied the traced dress and filled it with solid colour
I placed the image of flowers as overlay and used solid colour to create layer mask
I painted shadows on new layer and reduced opacity
I created contrasting background to finish my design
Final Product
Design critique

The final product is the best outcome I could produce with my developed skills of using Adobe Photoshop.
When I compare my work to the work I've researched, it is clear, that my skills are on the beginner level and in fact can't be compared, however it can be improved with time, tutorials and practice.
I encountered minor problem when I was using fill tool. The outline of the traced dress wasn't connected, so I managed to paint the background as well as the dress. I fixed it by using paintbrush tool and painted a black line on to stop the colour from escaping.
I find my final product satisfying, only thing I would change is the middle dress- when I created the final product, I was going to use the line drawn dress as it is my favourite style of illustration. Looking at it now, I find, that it doesn't really work with the whole page, maybe if I filled a different background to bring the whole page together or illustrate the whole page instead.
